Van Palmer is the owner of the Rock Jocky bar. A popular place for Military and Merchant spacers to relax and enjoy a drink or two. Just make sure no one starts any trouble or tries to make shady deals. He is not above tossing the participants out with prejudice. Speaking of prejudice, while alien visitors are rare, they will find Van... cold toward them. Is it just a lack of exposure, or something else? No one knows. Grace toiled endlessly in the keep of the heroes for years, learning to adapt to all of their unruly antics, until they broke into her bedroom, destroying all of her belongings during a night of debauchery. The locals give the entrance of Canbree's Salon a wide birth. It's said that the owner was an infamous murderer. If only they knew the truth of the matter. Dulcinea Canbree is still willing to tell the tale, after all, she still inhabits her salon. It was her life's work after her father disowned her for a young love that didn't last. Why was she thought to be a murderer? A distant relative who shares many of Dulcinea's features framed her for the crimes.
